First, locate the plastic screws right under the powerhead. These screws are super easy to remove. You can do it even without a screwdriver. A coin or a kitchen knife may do the trick. After unscrewing them, the plastic cover will come right off.
Step Three: Locate the Main Screws
There are usually four screws underneath the bottom plate of the powerhead. Locate the screws and grab a screwdriver and unscrew them one by one. Don’t use unfit screwdrivers as it may damage the screws and the holes. Store the screws in a small box or bowl to avoid losing them.

Step Five: Pull Out the Roller Brush
There are two clips of the powerhead attached to the roller brush. The belt is connected at the middle of the roller brush. Pull out the two clips one by one and it’s going to pop out easily. There’s another pair of screws in the covering of the motor.
The screws are the same shape as the previous ones. So, you can use the same screwdriver to unscrew them and need not to worry about mixing them with the others.
Detach the top plastic lid covering the motor connecting the roller brush. Remove the roller from the belt and it should slide out easily. Be very careful while popping out the roller brush to prevent damaging the belt. For an easier repositioning of the belt, note the initial position and reattach the roller accordingly.
